About the Service
Apart from the traditional liposuction method, there are other methods such as ultrasonic sound waves or laser assisted liposuction methods. VASER stands for ‘Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance’. It is a liposuction technique that uses ultrasound waves to break up and liquefy fat cells, making them easier to extract. The basic principle is to break down fat cells with the help of energy waves before liposuction. These methods allow us to obtain a smoother surface on the skin. The damage caused by the energy can tighten the lower layers as well as the skin. These energies are specific to adipose tissue; they do not damage the vessels or nerves, thus promoting faster healing. Liposuction surgeries are not for weight loss. They are used in areas with excess adipose tissue and contour problems. Before the operation, detailed patient anamnesis, patient examination, collection of the individual’s expectations, information about the operation, pre-operative photographing, post-operative evaluation of the results, necessary analysis and tests are performed. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and the necessary procedures to achieve a natural appearance are performed in approximately 1-2 hours. 0.5 cm incisions are made in the areas corresponding to the folds close to the areas where liposuction is performed. Fluid leaks from these holes for pain control. After a certain period, the oils are broken down using energy-based devices and the broken oils are removed. The drain is not inserted. The surgery can be performed on more than one body area. A special corset is used. After the operation, nutrition begins in a short time. The person can be discharged a few hours after the surgery. A special corset is used for about 3-4 weeks. There may be leakage from the stitches on the first day. You can take a shower 2 days after the surgery. Return to work can occur after 1 week; Light exercise can be done after 3 weeks, heavy exercise after 6 weeks. Bruises and swelling may occur in the surgical areas and last for about 2-3 weeks. At the end of a period of 6 months to 1-year, full recovery is observed (time may vary depending on the procedures applied in liposuction procedures).
